Tel Aviv airport:
Hey everybody this is Amira from Bethlehem Palestine and I will write the group diary for the last 5 days. I arrived to Tel Aviv airport with Jacob and Alfred a Palestinian friend from Jerusalem. (Even though I cant pass through Tel Aviv airport as I am Palestinian and I have Palestinian id plus American passport but what we did is that Jacob and a friend from Harduf, Harry, helped me to get a permit to go through this airport) so it was a little bit difficult for us in the airport because they searched our bags and put everything from them aside but anyway they were nice with us. The flight was great we enjoyed it a lot, the service was great and we really liked the landscape of Germany from the plane.
Arrival at Munich airport:
We arrived at Munich airport and took the train for 45 min to the centre of Munich, however, Katharine and her grandparents were waiting us there, they are really sweet, they invited us to have some food then bought us some sweets for the way to Überlingen that took us 4 hours in the train. Jacob left us and went to the other group in Annie´s house. We went in the train Katharine, Alfred and I.
Arrival at Überlingen:
Katharine father Peter and sister Ruth came to the train station to pick us up and took us to their house. Such a big and lovely house, we met the rest of the family members, mama Irmgard, sister Martha and brother Lorenz. They prepared for us food as we were very hungry, spaghetti salad and some delicious dressing for the salad and the spaghetti.
At 10 pm Rafaela, Katharine’s best friend, came and took us in her car to the lake Constance and there we met their classmates, we really had a lot of fun, then we went to party in one of the clubs wohooooooooo!!!!!!!
